COMMUNITY TEAM

BOWLING FOR JESUS!

Two churches have already reported
in with a total of over $900 raised so far.

What: A chance for you and your youth group to go bowling and raise money to help World Hunger!

When: Anytime before April 30 (deadline has been extended!)

How: Go bowling with your youth group or get together with other youth groups and then get sponsors for so much a pin or just give a donation for the same amount as you pay for going bowling.

THIS IDEA JUST IN... Put together a video bowling event with a Wii or other video gaming system at the church, in a home, or at a local nursing home.  Then, put the money you would have given to a bowling alley toward your world hunger donation Send pictures to info@rmslyo.org if your youth group went video bowling at a nursing home and we will publish them on this site.

Details:  After your youth group has gone bowling and everyone has donated according to how many pins they hit, have your church treasurer send the money directly to ELCA World Hunger.

Then, send the total of how much your group raised to Haley Schranck at info@rmslyo.org, so that we can announce the total amount raised across the synod.
